Meet Henry Pisano

I founded Pisano Destinations to help travelers tap into vibrant, authentic vacation experiences that stay with them forever. That’s exactly the kind of experiences I’ve sought out for myself, on my yearly pilgrimages back home to Italy. 

I was born in Naples and emigrated to the U.S. when I was just seven years old, and on my frequent trips back I’ve explored everywhere from the Italian Riviera to Rome, Portofino to Sicily. But my favorite trip back home was 12 years ago, when I brought my family along with me. I was able to show them the tiny church—built in the 15th century!—where my grandparents got married. It was such an emotional moment, and really confirmed the power travel has to connect you to what really matters.

And while Italy does hold a very special place in my heart, my passion truly lies in planning luxury travel, where every one of your whims is catered to. It’s a skill I picked up after 40+ years in the casino business, where I traveled the world as a senior executive making sure our VIP clients were very well taken care of. Private jets, butler service, 4 a.m. phone calls with the most interesting (and sometimes outrageous) requests—whatever they wanted, it was my job to make it happen.
