WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT GREECE?

The optimal time to visit Greece largely depends on what you're seeking from your trip. For those who prefer warm weather but want to avoid the peak tourist season, the months of May, June, and September are ideal.

If you prefer to soak up the summer sun and lively beach scene, July and August are perfect, though expect higher temperatures (90 degrees), and busy tourist spots.

WHAT CAN I DO AND SEE IN GREECE?

Greece offers a wealth of experiences. You could begin your journey with a boat trip around the Aegean Sea. Whether you opt for a private yacht, a sailing tour, or a simple ferry ride, the views of the Greek islands are nothing short of breathtaking.

If you love history, the country is a treasure trove of ancient ruins and archaeological sites. Athens boasts the Acropolis and Parthenon, while Delphi and Olympia are also must-visit sites.

Museums are another highlight, with the National Archaeological Museum in Athens and if you're in Crete, the Heraklion Archaeological Museum offers fascinating artifacts.

Greece's diverse landscapes provide opportunities for hiking rugged trails in Crete as well as scenic, historic paths of Meteora.
